How to get started in ES and get the 101T cardTo get qualified to go on any exercise the following steps must be completed. Step 1 (Cadets Only): Once you pass your Curry Achievement you need to login to e-Services and enter your Curry achievement under "Personal ES/CD/Cadet Task Entry". The Squadron Commander will then go in to their view and approve the Curry Achievement. Step 1 (Seniors Only): You need to see the professional development officer and take Level I training. The Professional Development officer must submit a CAPF 11 to national headquarters to get it online in MIMS. Step 2: Study the online material found at National Publications page. Step 3: Take Part I of the General Emergency Services CAPT 116. Step 4: Print the certificate at the end of the test and put it in your file. Step 5: Take a Picture of yourself in uniform with a white background. Click here to find out more about picture specifications. Login to e-Services and upload your picture using the tool. The Squadron Commander will have to go in an approve your picture. (If we have taken your picture at the sqadron meeting, then the commander will upload the picture for you). Step 6: Login to e-Services click on the link "Personal CAPF 101" and then click print. Step 7: Get a 24 hour pack. This can be a simple $5 backpack or a $75 camelback. The key is what goes into it. See the list for more details. Step 8: Attend ES training on ES weekends and attend a FTX or SAREX. Step 9: Login to e-Services. Go to the section marked "Personal ES/CD/Cadet Task Entry" and enter each task you were trained on, the date, and trainer CAP ID. Step 10: When you have completed all your training, then you must attend two additional SAREX or real missions. Step 11: Login to e-Services. Go to the section marked "Personal ES/CD/Cadet Task Entry" and enter the mission numbers and date per the form. Step 12: Wait for the ES officer to validate your entries. It will then be passed up to group and wing for approval. Step 13: When everything is approved, Login to e-Services click on the link "Personal CAPF 101" and then click print. The card should show your new qualifictions.
