Awards Ceremony/Holiday Banquet 2004 - Texas Military Forces Museum - Austin, Texas

Pre-Ceremony

The Helicopter

An AH-64 Apache attack helicopter was flown in by before the banquet started.

The Mingling

The last day as SNCO buddies. 2nd Lt Daren Jaeger poses with C/Maj Joseph Devine and C/2nd Lt. Preston Edgett.
C/LtCol Hunter Holrah visits Pegasus after his first semester at the Naval Academy. The LtCol has a few words for the officers and officers-to-be.
C/CMSgt Sarah Murray also came back and visited the ceremony. The Texas Military Forces Museum kindly allowed Pegasus Composite Squadron to use the auditorium in the museum.

The Speakers


1st Lt Pam Devine ran the show. Maj Jimmie Draper also gave a short speech. As part of the Eiker award, C/Maj Joseph Devine spoke on his leadership since becoming a cadet officer.
C/CMSgt Bradley Cilino gives his short speech for the Gen. Billy Mitchell award. C/CMSgt Richard Pope, Jr. gives his short speech for the Gen. Billy Mitchell award. C/CMSgt Will Taylor gives his short speech for the Gen. Billy Mitchell award.

The Color Guard


The color guard posted and retreated the flags at the beginning and end of the ceremony. The LtCol gives advise to color guard members for proper hold of the rifle.

The Senior Member Awards


LtCol Deborah French was awarded the 25 year service certificate. LtCol Martin Dorantes was awarded teh 25 year service certificate.
1st Lt Pam Devine was awarded the Senior Member Proficiency Award. 2nd Lt Daren Jaeger was awarded the Senior Member of the Year Award.

The Cadet of the Year Award


C/CMSgt Bradley Cilino was awarded the Cadet of the Year Award.

The Aerospace Education Excellence Awards

The Model Rocketry Awards

The First Orientation Flight Certificate


Awarded after the cadet has flown his or her first orientation flight in which they learn all about a Cessna 172 or 182 while also learning to fly it.
